Honouring the champions of the 7th day of the Kalba Beach Games

Sharjah 24: The seventh day of the fifth Kalba Beach Games witnessed the crowning of the champions in the tug-of-war competition for men, juniors, and women, while the preliminary rounds of the men's volleyball competition continued on Thursday, November 13.

The crowning ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Bodybuilding Federation (EBBF); His Excellency Engineer Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, Member of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC); His Excellency Abdulmalik Jani, Chairman of the Organising Committee; and His Excellency Mohammed Abdulrahim Al Marri, Secretary General of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.

Tug-of-war

In the men's tug-of-war, the Sohar Youth team from the Sultanate of Oman won first place and the gold medals, while the Fujairah Thunder team came in second and won the silver medals. The Wolves team from the Sultanate of Oman took third place and the bronze medals. In the junior category, the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports team won first place and the gold medals, followed by the Kalba Junior "B" team in second place, and the Kalba Club team in third place and the bronze medals. In the women's competition, the Fighters team won first place and the gold medals, the Emirates Girls team came in second, and the Old Is Gold team finished third.

Men's volleyball qualifiers

The preliminary qualifying matches for the men's volleyball competition were held, with the final round scheduled for the last day of the tournament.

Saturday, November 15

Some categories will be crowned in the archery competition, the winners of the wooden speedboat race (Shawaheef) will be crowned, the remaining categories in the calisthenics competition will be crowned, and the winners of the wrestling competition will be crowned. The arm wrestling competition will also see the crowning of some winners in the karate competition, as well as the crowning of some categories in the beach wrestling competition. The third and fourth place match in the football competition will also take place, and the qualifying rounds for the men's volleyball competition, the boxing competition, and the qualifiers for the 3x3 youth basketball competition will continue.
