The event, organized by the UAE Judo Federation in partnership with the Sharjah Sports Council, began yesterday at the Khorfakkan Sports Club. It saw participation from 320 young athletes, both boys and girls, representing 27 different countries.
Azerbaijan emerged as the top country in the medal standings, securing 11 medals, including 8 gold. Uzbekistan followed closely in third place, also with 11 medals, consisting of 1 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze.
The medal winners were honored by several officials, including Mohammed Jassim, who is the Assistant Secretary General of the Federation and the Head of the Organizing Committee; Salem Mohammed Al Naqbi, the Chairman of Khorfakkan Club; Issa bin Huwaiden, a Board Member of the Federation; and Abdullah Zainal, the Director of Sports at Khorfakkan Club.
