Empowering entrepreneurs and expanding opportunities
Al Ali explained that this year’s edition builds on the success of the first forum in 2024, with the goal of empowering entrepreneurs by connecting them with government procurement and tenders to enhance their sustainability and competitiveness. The event featured participation from six local and federal entities and 38 projects, including both home-based and commercial ventures. She expressed the foundation’s ambition to double these numbers in future editions by expanding participation from additional government entities and national projects.
Supporting growth and overcoming challenges
Al Ali emphasised Ruwad’s commitment to addressing challenges faced by entrepreneurs and facilitating their access to government bids and tenders. She highlighted that the positive results achieved in the previous edition reflect the successful cooperation between government bodies and entrepreneurs.
Strengthening Sharjah’s entrepreneurial ecosystem
Concluding her remarks, Al Ali reaffirmed that Ruwad seeks to reinforce Sharjah’s position as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship through new initiatives and partnerships that nurture the growth of emerging projects and strengthen the overall entrepreneurship ecosystem in the emirate.
