SEDD to improve competitiveness of business environment

Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, the Chairman of the SEDD and a member of the Executive Council, emphasized that this forum is a chance for the department to showcase its work and the services it offers to business owners and entrepreneurs. He believes that participating in the forum aligns with SEDD's commitment to enhancing Sharjah's reputation as a key economic center both regionally and globally. The forum serves as a valuable space to discuss economic initiatives and policies that make the business landscape better and attract high-quality investments.

Al Mahmoud also highlighted that the department’s efforts to manage and boost various economic sectors have successfully encouraged both local and international investments in different projects.

During the event, SEDD presented its key initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. This includes their work to empower small and medium-sized businesses and promote the idea of self-employment among different groups in the community.
