Great commitment
For his part, Captain Ibrahim Suwaisi, sabre coach at Sharjah Women's Sports Club, praised the players' technical level, saying that participating in the UAE Cup marked a strong start to the new season. Players demonstrated high commitment and fought tough matches with courage and focus, demonstrating team spirit and tactical organisation across the various categories. This diverse performance reflects the tremendous effort expended in training and gives greater motivation to continue working toward achieving even greater accomplishments in future events.
Fruits of integration
For her part, Alyazia Al Suwaidi, Head of the Technical Preparation and Follow-up Division at the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation (SWSF), explained that five of the players who reached the championship's podium were from the Sports Incubators Project, implemented by SWSF in partnership with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, represented by the Sharjah Children. She said that this attendance confirms that incubators are a key platform for developing girls' technical and physical abilities from an early age, preparing them for the transition to official club teams. The foundation's vision is for incubators to be a continuous source of talent for clubs, enabling female players to find a comprehensive path that begins with their foundation and matures through training and participation in tournaments. The recent achievement in fencing reflects the fruits of this integration and motivates us to redouble our efforts in the coming stages.
This achievement reflects the Sharjah Women's Sports Club's commitment to developing fencing and honing the skills of female players, consolidating its position as one of the most prominent clubs supporting women's sports in the country.
