Dibba Al Hisn Council, SDTPS discuss development plans

Sharjah 24: The Dibba Al Hisn Council, under the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, held an extensive meeting with the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey’s (SDTPS) Dibba Al Hisn branch to explore ways to enhance cooperation and develop urban plans for the city.

This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to foster collaboration between various entities, ensuring a well-planned urban environment that meets the aspirations of Dibba Al-Hisn’s residents and reinforces its status as a model city within the Emirate of Sharjah.

Key Attendees and Discussions

Held, on Monday, at the department’s branch in Dibba Al Hisn, the meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Council, along with council members. Representing the Planning and Survey Department was Engineer Ayman Rashid Al Naqbi, Director of the department’s branches in the Eastern Region, alongside several specialised officials.

The meeting featured a review of several developmental projects aimed at improving Dibba Al Hisn’s infrastructure. Discussions also covered future urban planning strategies aligned with the emirate’s vision of enhancing quality of life and public services.

Commitments and Next Steps

Both parties agreed to strengthen communication mechanisms to ensure projects are implemented within the scheduled timeframe. Additionally, they committed to evaluating proposals from the council to further improve urban planning and municipal services in Dibba Al Hisn.
