Sharjah 24: As part of its ongoing efforts to support the educational process and foster a culture of excellence and ambition among female students, the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated with Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), organised an academic motivational meeting for twelfth-grade female students from Al Hoor Girls' School for Basic & Secondary Education (second and third cycles).

Together We Make a Difference Towards Excellence

The meeting was held under the slogan "Together We Make a Difference Towards Excellence." The meeting coincided with the students' preparation for their final exams.

The meeting was attended by a number of parents who expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Parents Council in providing quality and impactful programmes, reflecting a clear commitment to raising students' motivation and achievement and enhancing their positive presence in the educational environment.

Supporting female students academically and psychologically

The meeting is part of an ongoing series of initiatives launched by the Council to support female students academically and psychologically, and to contribute to instilling the values of excellence and success within an integrated educational environment that stimulates creativity and opens up horizons of excellence for students at all levels of study.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, included interactive workshops focused on developing students' academic and motivational skills.

Introducing smart study strategies

Safia Al Nuaimi presented the first workshop, titled "Effective Study Skills," which reviewed smart study strategies and the most important memorisation and summarisation methods that enable students to manage their time effectively, contributing to achieving advanced academic results.

Developing self-motivation skills

The second workshop, titled "Create Your Vision for Excellence," was presented by Aisha Al Tunaiji. It focused on inspiring students to build a clear academic and professional vision, develop self-motivation skills, and set realistic goals that will help them chart a path to sustainable success throughout their academic careers.

The meeting included purposeful and innovative practical exercises that helped the students freely express their ideas and explore aspects of their creative talents. This contributed to creating a stimulating, interactive environment that encouraged positive interaction and active participation, and demonstrated a clear impact in fostering a spirit of initiative and excellence among the participants.
