Sharjah 24: Embodying the values of institutional integration among government agencies in the Emirate of Sharjah, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Archives, honoured the Strategy and Institutional Leadership Team at the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) at its headquarters in appreciation of their effective contribution to supporting the first edition of Sharjah Archives Excellence Award.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of SPGC, His Excellency Salah Salem Al Mahmoud, Director General of Sharjah Archives, and a number of officers and officials from both sides.
Promoting excellence and quality in performance
During his speech at the award ceremony, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi emphasised that this cooperation embodies the depth of institutional partnership between government agencies and reflects the Emirate of Sharjah's commitment to promoting excellence and quality in performance.

For his part, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer praised this generous initiative by Sharjah Archives, emphasising that it embodies the spirit of government partnership, which is a fundamental pillar of sustainable development. He pointed out that SPGC views institutional excellence as a deeply rooted culture and work methodology, which it is keen to consolidate in cooperation with various entities, both local and federal, within the framework of a unified vision that enhances performance quality and supports the aspirations of the United Arab Emirates in general, and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, towards institutional leadership.
During the ceremony, the delegation from Sharjah Archives toured the Operations Centre at the General Command, where they were briefed on the most prominent modern technologies and smart systems used by Sharjah Police in managing operations and immediate response.
They expressed their admiration for the advanced level of performance, planning, and technical readiness.
It is worth noting that the National Archives launched the "National Archives Excellence Award" as part of its vision to stimulate institutional performance, advance documentation practices, and foster a culture of innovation and integration in preserving the institutional memory of the Emirate of Sharjah.
