Sharjah24: Salem Ali Al Owais, Document Officer at the Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority, has officially announced the initiation of a series of specialised workshops targeting government employees. These workshops, taking place at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah are designed to improve document management skills with 80 participants, focussing on both paper and digital documents.
In an exclusive statement to "Sharjah24", Al Owais emphasised that the primary goal of these workshops is to enhance document management systems within government entities by implementing a cohesive system that optimises organisation, storage, and retrieval processes. The implementation of this system is set to enhance government operations and promote secure and systematic record-keeping, adhering to international best practices.
He stressed that Sharjah Archives aims to enhance administrative performance and standardizse procedures across the emirate through this initiative. By implementing a unified system for document management, the project seeks to facilitate easier access to information, improve organisational efficiency, and support more effective decision-making processes within government bodies.
