On occasion, Al Zaabi acknowledged his pride in the accomplishment, which he characterised as an honour for the department. He confirmed that it represents its personnel's commitment to improving their capabilities in support of efficient government service delivery, which aligns with Sharjah's aim of developing competent and well-qualified human resources.
He stated that the department supports all educational activities that benefit staff development and is committed to creating a work environment that promotes lifelong learning and academic success.
The two recipients were Drs. Suleiman Dawood Mohammed Nasrallah Al Zarouni and Lubna Abdulrazzaq Mohammed Abdouli, both of whom held doctorates from the University of Sharjah: one in public law and one in business administration.
Nine employees who are currently pursuing their PhDs also attended the ceremony. Al Zaabi seized the opportunity to encourage the staff and discuss the directorate’s goals, confirming its support for their academic journey as well as its dedication to encouraging all employees to continue their pursuit of knowledge, thereby boosting their future preparation.
He concluded the ceremony by wishing the honourees continued success in their academic and professional endeavours, which would advance government operations and improve institutional performance.
