Sharjah24: In a move that reflects the visionary foresight of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Government has announced the establishment of a Ministry of Foreign Trade and the renaming of the Ministry of Economy to the Ministry of Economy and Tourism—affirming the dynamic nature of federal governance and its ability to proactively adapt to global transformations with clarity and precision.

These strategic changes embody a comprehensive developmental approach that places people, sustainable economy, and global competitiveness at the forefront of national priorities, further strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading global hub for economy, tourism, and international trade.

We believe this step represents a qualitative leap in reinforcing the country’s economic and tourism landscape, opening new horizons for deeper partnerships and more integrated cooperation between federal and local entities under a unified national vision.
