Al-Barout stated that the workshop is designed to enhance children's understanding of parliamentary practices. The strong participation reflects both the children's enthusiasm and the support of parents and institutions in encouraging civic engagement at a young age.
He emphasised the vital contribution of children's centres under the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators. These centres play a key role in shaping the skills and leadership qualities of future generations.
Al-Barout told “Sharjah 24” that the educational outcomes of the programme have exceeded expectations. The structured approach lays a scientific foundation for children to engage in future parliamentary roles—whether in the Sharjah Consultative Council or the Federal National Council.
As part of the workshop, children are introduced to essential concepts such as the roles of the President and Secretary-General, how to form committees, and how to manage parliamentary sessions—equipping them with real-world insights into governance and civic responsibility.
