Sharjah 24: Hassan Younis Al Zarouni, General Supervisor of the Sports Path at Sharjah Children, announced the launch of the Swimming Festival organised by Sharjah Children, an affiliate of Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, in collaboration with the Sharjah Sports Council.

The event saw the participation of 260 children aged between 6 and 12 years, representing various children's centres across the Emirate. This marks the first edition of the festival, held at Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club.

Encouraging Competition and Talent Discovery

Al Zarouni noted in a statement to "Sharjah 24" that the goal of the festival is to instill a spirit of competition, assess the children's athletic levels, and identify talented individuals to attract them to sports clubs in the Emirate.

Gratitude to Supporters

The General Supervisor expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Sports Council for its collaboration in ensuring the success of the event, and to Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club for hosting the festival.
