Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police Call Centre has achieved a remarkable 98.8% score in applying the compliance standards set by the Ministry of Interior, according to an evaluation conducted earlier this year.

Commitment to strategic excellence

Brigadier Dr Jassim bin Hadda, Director of the Operations Centre Department at Sharjah Police, emphasized that this achievement aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. These directives aim to elevate institutional performance and establish a supportive work environment that advances strategic goals and improves community quality of life.

Supporting UAE Vision 2031

He highlighted that the result supports Sharjah Police’s commitment to being a future-ready security institution, keeping pace with the aspirations of the leadership and contributing to the UAE Vision 2031 for smart, effective governance.

Evaluation based on key performance areas

The Ministry of Interior’s evaluation focused on multiple key aspects, including efficiency of operational procedures, speed of response to public reports, accuracy of information provided, and quality of public interaction.

Excellence in all evaluation areas

According to Brig. Dr bin Hadda, the call center successfully met all criteria with high proficiency, showcasing its excellence across all evaluated dimensions. He noted that this reflects the center’s capacity to translate institutional vision into effective operational practices and outstanding field performance.

A model of growth and development

He concluded by affirming that the call center’s performance demonstrates the continuous growth and qualitative development of the police work system in Sharjah, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a leader in smart and responsive policing.
