Sharjah 24 – WAM: Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, accompanied by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services in UAE Government, and Brigadier Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Director-General of Happiness at the Ministry of Interior, unveiled the 5-star plaque for two services centres - Comprehensive Industrial Areas Police Station and Comprehensive Al Gharb Police Station.
The 5-star plaque is part of the results of the classification of service channels in the federal government for the Global Star System for Service Classification for 2023, approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Al Khaili congratulated and appreciated the excellence, dedication, and keenness of the workers at these centres for being on the path of excellence and leadership under the directives of the UAE government and its approach seeking to enhance the quality of life of the Emirati community under the provision of the finest comprehensive government services.
Major General Al Shamsi confirmed that the Traffic and Licencing Services Centres and the Wasit Comprehensive Police received a 6-star rating, the Kalba Comprehensive Police Stations, the Comprehensive West Police Stations, the Comprehensive Industrial Areas Centres, and the Eastern Region Police Stations.
The 5-star rating resulted from an integrated work system following the Ministry of Interior's strategy and the wise leadership's support and vision. It indicated the keenness of Sharjah Police to provide the best police services to the community in a smart and comprehensive manner, pleasing the community and satisfying the public. It stressed the need to enhance the achievements through redoubled efforts, encourage innovation, and adopt global best practices.
Brigadier General Al Kaabi said retaining the summit is more difficult than reaching it. He stressed the continuation of work, effort, and giving, the sustainability of qualification and empowerment, raising performance levels, and the sustainability of the process of development and modernisation in government services to ensure leadership and excellence and enhance the UAE’s advanced position on the ladder.
