The department’s delegation was led by Eng Salem Hamad Al Abdouli, Director of the Department of Housing. The participation aimed to highlight Sharjah’s innovative housing initiatives and projects, particularly its digital solutions and smart services designed to improve quality of life and promote sustainability in residential communities. The department also presented a comprehensive vision for the future of housing in the emirate through shared experiences and knowledge exchange with regional peers.
During the exhibition, the department showcased its residential complexes developed across various cities and regions in Sharjah, as well as its pioneering efforts in digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and efficient resource use. The department also took part in a panel discussion titled "Technology and Applications in Housing Projects", where Dr. Eng. Abdullah Mahmoud delivered a presentation on advanced technical practices adopted by the department. These included the use of green concrete, smart building systems, and other eco-friendly innovations that support the creation of integrated, sustainable urban communities.
Through its participation in this Gulf event, the Sharjah Department of Housing reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to developing flexible, innovative housing policies and programmes that meet the aspirations of Emirati families. The participation also reflects the department’s vision of building inclusive, secure, and sustainable communities that contribute to enhancing quality of life—solidifying Sharjah’s position as a regional leader in government housing development.
