Jawaher Al Naqbi: SGMB concludes Govt Communication Diploma

Sharjah24: Jawaher Al Naqbi, Director of the Government Communication Department at the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) , announced the conclusion of the Professional Diploma Programme in Strategic Government Communication , which lasted for seven weeks in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah. The programme saw broad participation from government communication professionals across various departments and institutions in the emirate.

The Sharjah Government Media Bureau, in cooperation with the American University of Sharjah, successfully concluded the Strategic Government Communication Diploma, which aimed to enhance the skills of government employees and equip them with modern communication tools. Al Naqbi emphasised that this initiative contributes to improving the quality of government messages and unifying the media discourse that reflects Sharjah’s identity and institutional values.

Curriculum highlights

The programme covered a range of topics, including audience analysis, crisis management, content creation, digital media campaigns, and the use of artificial intelligence in communication. Al Naqbi noted that this diploma aligns with the Sharjah Government's efforts to enhance the skills of its workforce and keep pace with the latest developments in strategic communication.
