Sharjah 24: As part of its mission to develop children's abilities and enrich their cultural and intellectual skills, Sharjah Children—an affiliate of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators—is actively participating in the 16th edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF).

The event, organised by the Sharjah Book Authority under the theme "Dive into Books," runs from April 23 to May 4 at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

Interactive Platform Showcasing Programmes and Services

Sharjah Children’s presence at the festival includes an interactive platform designed to introduce the local community and festival visitors to the organisation's wide range of programmes and services. These initiatives support its mission to discover, nurture, and refine children's potential, positioning the organisation as a key community partner in building and empowering conscious and impactful future generations.

Over 70 Innovative Workshops for Young Minds

Located at Booth 99 in Hall 6, the Sharjah Children platform will host more than 70 specialised and creative workshops and activities. These sessions blend culture, arts, life skills, and entertainment, targeting children aged 6 to 12 years. Delivered in collaboration with professional organisations and experts, the workshops also feature active participation from members of Sharjah Children, offering an engaging environment that sparks creative imagination and learning.

Promoting the “Reader of the Century” Platform

The booth will also promote the “Reader of the Century” platform—an initiative designed to boost knowledge awareness among the next generation of children and youth aged 6 to 18 years. The platform aims to inspire a love for reading, empower participants with knowledge, and nurture their intellectual and cultural growth. Interested individuals can learn more and register through the competition’s website, or follow Rubu’ Qarn’s social media channels for details and participation guidelines

Open to the Public Throughout the Festival

The Sharjah Children platform welcomes visitors during both morning and evening hours throughout the festival days. Families and participants interested in exploring the full range of engaging and educational reading programmes and workshops are encouraged to follow Sharjah Children’s social media accounts at @shjchc for updates and schedules.
