The upcoming trip will take place in Ala Archa National Park, Kyrgyz Republic, from May 12 to 17, 2025, and will feature a select group of youth focused on enhancing their mental and physical resilience through a unique field experience.
The program is designed to boost participants’ mental toughness, physical preparedness, and leadership skills through hands-on training in a rugged natural setting. This journey will serve as a preparatory stage for Tatweer’s future expedition to Mount Elbrus in Russia—the highest mountain peak in the country.
Khaled Ibrahim Al Nakhi, Director of Tatweer, highlighted the transformative nature of the experience.
The “To the Summits” programme is not limited to mountain climbing alone. It is a comprehensive journey toward personal development, self-confidence, and the ability to face challenges.”
He added that while the Kyrgyzstan trip serves as a foundation for the Mount Elbrus expedition, it is also open to individuals seeking personal growth through a powerful stand-alone experience.
The six-day journey will offer specialised climbing and survival training, field-based physical activities, and a guided ascent of the Ak-Sai Glacier
