Wathba begins strategic leadership at INSEAD, Paris

Sharjah24: Participants in the Wathba Programme are heading to Paris for a new educational experience as part of the program's second phase, which will take place from 14 to 17 April 2025 at INSEAD (Institut européen d'administration des affaires), one of the world's leading academic institutions for leadership and management.

From storytelling to strategy

This phase, titled Strategic Leadership, follows the first stage, which took place in the UAE and focused on narrative as a potent instrument for influence and persuasion. The Paris visit was a significant milestone in the programme

programme, providing participants with an intensive learning environment focused on honing their leadership qualities as well as broadening their strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

World-class training with real-world relevance

The programme involves a series of interactive training sessions led by experienced INSEAD academics on subjects such as leadership development, high-performance team building, digital transformation and strategic collaboration, negotiation, and managing change without formal authority. Participants will also engage in hands-on case studies to obtain a more profound understanding of real-world institutional difficulties and how to solve them successfully.

Empowering future-ready Emirati leaders

The programme seeks to improve participants' personal and professional abilities by combining theoretical knowledge with practical tools, preparing them to be future-ready leaders. This strategy is consistent with the aim of Sharjah Capability Development to prepare a new generation of Emirati youth who can take on leadership roles and represent the UAE competently and confidently on regional and global forums.
