In the under-17 category, held on Monday, March 24, Shamma Humaid Al Suwaidi added a third gold medal to the club's tally after winning first place in the sabre event, amidst a distinguished technical performance and strong competition until the final round.
Hassan Al Zawari, the club's fencing technical director, commented on her participation, saying that the competition in this tournament was strong at all levels, but the epee event in particular saw exceptional matches in terms of strength and tactics. The matches were extremely exciting, and were often decided by just one or two points, reflecting the advanced level the players have reached across the country. He added that the club is proud of its team's performance, especially in light of this great competitive momentum, and the club will continue to work on developing its performance to reach full readiness for future tournaments.
These results are a continuation of the excellence achieved by the fencing teams at Sharjah Women's Sports Club and an expression of the training and technical efforts made by the Foundation to support the players and prepare them to compete in various local and international events with high efficiency.
