At the closing ceremony, the club honoured all participants, highlighting the tournament’s role in strengthening bonds among members and reinforcing values of teamwork and cooperation. The event has become a cornerstone of the club’s annual activities, reflecting its commitment to inclusion and community spirit.
The closing ceremony was attended by distinguished figures, including Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Board, and Louai Saeed Allay Al Naqbi, Vice Chairman. Also present were Ali Ahmed bin Aboud Al Naqbi, Tournament Director, Khalil Mohammed Al-Mansoori, Financial Director and Deputy General Secretary, as well as Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hammadi, Tournament Manager, and Abdullah Saeed Al Harithy, Head of Institutional Communication. Coaches, supervisors, parents, and players also joined the celebrations.
In his speech, Chairman Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi expressed his deep gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unwavering support of people with disabilities and his dedication to sports development in the Emirate. He also acknowledged the efforts of Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, for his continuous encouragement and support in advancing the club’s success.
Vice Chairman Louai Saeed Allay praised the remarkable success of this year’s Ramadan programme, noting the diversity of activities and the strong commitment of members. He emphasised the significant progress made in organising sporting, cultural, and artistic events, which contributed to discovering new talents across various fields.
Ali Ahmed Al Naqbi, Tournament Director and General Secretary, revealed that this year’s tournament featured 113 male and female athletes competing across seven different sports, tailored to various age groups and disabilities. He highlighted the tournament’s role in fostering players' personal development and promoting their positive integration into society.
Participants competed in various sports, including football, wheelchair basketball, volleyball, boccia, chess, badminton, and recreational games. Event organiser Lamia Ahmed Al Zaabi praised the competitive yet friendly atmosphere, lauding the strong presence of management, players, and families, which underscored the club’s reputation as an inclusive and supportive environment.
Closing the event, Abdullah Al Harithy emphasised that the Ramadan tournament is more than just a sports competition—it is an annual gathering that unites the entire club community, including management, players, coaches, and their families. He reiterated that sports serve as a universal message of cooperation, respect, and teamwork, reinforcing the club’s core values.
