'Sharjah Fish' receives ISO certification for excellence

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Fish Resources Authority has proudly obtained ISO certification for its Quality Management, Social Responsibility, and Environmental Management systems, having fulfilled all the necessary criteria and successfully passing the auditing process. This recognition reflects the authority's ongoing efforts to enhance its services, improve operational systems, and reinforce its commitment to leadership and excellence across its various sectors.

Ali Ahmed Ali Abughazayain, Chairman of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority, stated that the authority has meticulously followed the strategic vision and directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, focusing on quality within its work processes and enhancing it among its employees. Additionally, the authority is dedicated to fostering social responsibility and continuously improving its performance in alignment with the broader development and advancement of the emirate.

Abughazayain further emphasised that obtaining the ISO certification for Quality Management, Social Responsibility, and Environmental Management strengthens the authority’s resolve to pursue excellence. It also enhances its global reputation, reaffirming its ongoing efforts to modernise services, meet targets through creativity and innovation, and prioritise environmental protection, particularly for marine resources, which are central to its operations.

The Chairman also highlighted that the authority worked within a well-structured system to achieve these objectives, ensuring precise fulfilment of all requirements and providing the necessary resources and support. Continuous coordination and workshops contributed to the success of this project. Looking ahead, the authority aspires to maintain its position of excellence and continue achieving success at every level.

Abughazayain concluded by noting that quality remains a top priority within the authority, with a keen focus on enhancing performance indicators and executing tasks at the highest standards.
