This year’s Majlis featured distinguished speakers, including Dr Ahmed Amara, a mental health consultant, who discussed healthy relationships, and poet and writer Hamoud Al Sahoud, who spoke about culture and heritage in Arabic literature. Dr Khaled Al Ghattas, a content creator focused on human behaviour, explored values and beliefs, while preacher Mustafa Hosni addressed family dynamics, generational formation, and the foundations of proper upbringing and education.
The Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau further noted that the council was not limited to the main sessions but also included side sessions that enriched community discussion. He emphasised that future editions of the Ramadan Majlis will see an expansion in topics, particularly focusing on youth, children, and family issues, strengthening the council’s role as a platform for meaningful community dialogue.
