The decision to push back the discussion until next month comes as part of efforts to provide more time for the completion of studies related to the Department’s work, in line with the Emirate's accelerated economic development under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This move is aimed at ensuring Sharjah maintains its position as a leading regional and local investment hub.
Focus on strengthening business environment
Dr Belhaif highlighted that the upcoming session, set for April, will feature an in-depth discussion of the Department's policies, responding to the many questions and suggestions from Council members. These discussions aim to improve the business environment, attract investments, and boost the competitiveness of Sharjah’s economy, aligning with the Emirate’s broader development vision.
Council emphasises collaboration
The Council continues to prioritise support for economic development and fostering cooperation between sectors to ensure the growth of Sharjah’s economy. The discussions will focus on enhancing services for investors and business owners, with the ultimate goal of promoting a sustainable, attractive investment climate.
