Al Dhaid Club celebrates Quran memorisers

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, announced the honouring of the winners of the 16th Al Dhaid Club Award for the Holy Quran.

The event was organised in cooperation with the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment as part of the 6th Ramadan Forum. A total of 195 contestants participated in various award categories.

Ceremony details

The closing ceremony of the 16th Al Dhaid Club Award for the Holy Quran was attended by officials, dignitaries, and residents of the Central Region, along with the families of the winners. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the winners, who memorized portions of the Quran ranging from one part to the entire Quran.

Honours and lectures

Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden congratulated the winners and their families, wishing them to be among the people of the Quran. The ceremony also featured a religious lecture by Sheikh Dr Aziz Farhan Al-Anzi, titled "The Effect of the Holy Quran in Promoting Mental Health and Treating Its Diseases." After the lecture, the winners were honoured for their outstanding memorisation achievements.
