Sharjah24: Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, commander-in-chief of Sharjah Police, highlighted that prioritising public service, efficiently completing transactions, and streamlining procedures are essential aspects of police work. He emphasised that every director, official, or employee ought to deliver services in the manner they wish for themselves or their families. He emphasised that outstanding service delivery is a core principle of Sharjah Government’s vision and strategy for customer happiness, showcasing the UAE’s global competitiveness and leadership in this area.
Visit to inspect the police centres in the Central Region
This came during his inspection visit to the comprehensive police centres and the service centre in the Central Region, where he was accompanied by Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of the General Department of Community Protection and Prevention; Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support; Brigadier General Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services; Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajel, Director General of the General Department of Comprehensive Police Centres; Brigadier General Omar Ahmed Bualzod, Director General of the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Border Security; Brigadier General Yousef Obaid bin Harmoul, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Comprehensive Police Centres; Brigadier General Humaid Saeed Al Jallaf, Director of the Central Region Police Department; heads of the comprehensive police centres in the Central Region, and a number of specialist officers from Sharjah Police Headquarters.

Assessing readiness and service quality
The inspection tour included the Central Region Police Department as well as the comprehensive police centres located at Mleiha, Al Madam, and Al Thamid. The visit focused on evaluating the preparedness of these centres, assessing the quality of services offered, and identifying challenges encountered by work teams to boost operational efficiency, uphold the highest standards of security and safety, and enhance service quality.

Reviewing police personnel and operations
Major General Bin Amer conducted an inspection of police personnel during a review parade, evaluating the preparedness of police vehicles and equipment. He visited the buildings and service centres, interacting with staff members and gathering their insights and suggestions. He met with specialist officers as well as administrative and field personnel, receiving comprehensive briefings on the procedures used in managing various security cases and discussing suggested solutions for enhancing performance and the work environment.
