Sharjah24: Mira bin Hada, Head of Financial Systems and Smart Applications at the Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) , announced the launch of a new payment service in collaboration with "RAFED" Vehicle Solutions. This service allows customers to pay vehicle violation fees through the extended digital payment platform "Madd" at all Al Ansari Exchange branches across the UAE. Customers of RAFED can now settle fines by visiting any Al Ansari branch using the "Madd" platform.
Enhancing customer satisfaction
Mira bin Hada expressed her satisfaction with RAFED's integration into the "Madd" platform, part of the digital payment system "Tahseel," aimed at ensuring and enhancing customer satisfaction when paying vehicle fines at any Al Ansari Exchange branch using the digital payment system.
Objectives of the Madd platform
She added that the "Madd" platform aims to involve the private sector in providing payment services for participating government and private entities within the "Tahseel" system. The name "Madd" emphasises the concept of expanding and strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors, enabling customers to pay for services at partner service centers with diverse channels. This facilitates transactions for customers due to the broader geographical presence of these partners and serves clients without digital payment methods, ensuring speed, ease, and security in government payment processes.
Advancing digital payment infrastructure
Mira bin Hada confirmed that this launch is a significant step in enhancing the digital payment infrastructure in the country, facilitating financial transactions and increasing the efficiency of services provided to citizens and residents. She thanked strategic partners for their support of the "Madd" platform, noting that additional entities will soon join the platform to serve all community segments.
