SBA participates in Berlin International Film Festival 2025

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) is participating in the activities of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, which is being held in the German capital, Berlin, from February 13 to 23, as part of strengthening its media presence in various cultural events and international film festivals.

The Authority’s delegation includes Ismail Issa Al Hosani, Director of Al Sharqiya Channel from Kalba, Saif Abdulrahman Juma, Director of Plus 95 Radio, and artistic producer Ashraf Ali. The delegation held a series of meetings and contacts with media entities and cinematic content creators with the aim of exchanging experiences and exploring prospects for joint cooperation.

Ismail Al Hosani stressed that the SBA’s participation in the festival comes within the framework of its media message aimed at supporting creative productions and enhancing cultural exchange, noting that the festival represents an important platform for discovering the latest cinematic works and interacting with pioneers of the global film industry.

He added that the Authority is keen to keep pace with major cinematic events and communicate with creators to open new horizons that enhance the media content provided to the public, and support cinematic talents in the region, noting that such participations enhance Sharjah's cultural and media vision at the international level.
