Sharjah24: Lieutenant General Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Scout Mission , stated that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi's inauguration of the new Scout building is a significant moral and financial support to enhance scouting activities and develop its programmes, contributing to the formation of a responsible and aware generation.
In a statement to Sharjah 24, Al Suwaidi expressed his immense happiness at the opening of the new building by the patron of the scouting movement, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, describing it as a pivotal moment in scouting in the emirate.
Al Suwaidi mentioned that the new building represents an important achievement reflecting the vision and directives of the Ruler of Sharjah, who places great importance on scouting as a tool for building generations and developing youth skills. He expressed pride in this facility, which will serve as a center for creativity and excellence in scouting, noting that it includes advanced facilities such as training rooms, a specialised library, and spaces for educational activities, enhancing scouts' experiences and developing their leadership and social skills.
He also highlighted that the Ruler of Sharjah attended the opening of the 10th International Scout Gathering at the camp, where various scouting presentations and activities took place, attended by numerous local, regional, and global scout officials, as well as an exhibition showcasing all participating countries.
