Sharjah24: His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Batti Al Mehiri, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, stated that the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) discussed the authority's policies and projects during its ninth session as part of the second ordinary session of the eleventh legislative term on Thursday.
In a statement to Sharjah 24, Dr. Al Mehiri noted that members of SCC addressed various topics related to the health sector in the emirate, exchanging views on the authority's policies, objectives, programmes, and the health insurance system, as well as projects in the Sharjah Free Zone dedicated to healthcare.
Al Mehiri added that the session also explored ways to enhance institutional work within the authority and the city. He emphasised that all contributions and interventions from council members were valuable and relevant, enriching the institutional framework in the emirate to achieve sustainable development of health services and enhance the medical system's capacity to meet community needs.
