The evening, which was moderated by Saudi poet and media professional Rashid Al Qannas, was attended by Nawal Salem (UAE), Mohammed Al Badi (Sultanate of Oman), Jawaher Burshid (Qatar), Marwa Al Sudairy (Saudi Arabia), Khaled Al Majed (Kuwait), and Talal Rashrash (Syria).
Saudi poet Marwa Al Sudairy read about the UAE, its ambitions and its lush branches, and he also revealed the contradictions of snow and fire and the need for the fragrance of poetry, and in contrast the sorrows of departure, and the brokenness of feelings. Al Sudairy described the airport and waiting for the flight in the poem "The Revolution of Confession", to enhance the image of the "rose", within the approach of poetry/bird.
Nawal Salem expressed the scene of the halfway point and the promise that does not come true, and she also paid attention to quiet details in the songs of Fairuz, Mohammed Abdu, and Abdul Karim Abdul Qader.
In his poems, poet Mohammed Al Badi presented a number of verses adorned with nostalgia for the past, the call of birds and staying up late, and the longing for the meeting. Al Badi also sang selected poems by Emirati poet Salem Al Jamri.
Poet Jawaher Burshid addressed the clouds and the humpbacks of emotion, as a kind of complaint about drought, sorrows of memories, and the seasons of the year expressing the scarcity of rain and sunset.
Syrian poet Talal Al Rashrash presented poems in which he described the beauty of Al Dhaid and the tranquillity of its nature, as well as the conditions of cold and winter and its impact on people this year.
Finally, poet Khaled Al Subaie recited long patriotic and emotional poems, describing longings, the road, the dialogue of echoes and wounds.
