Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Culture issued issue number “82” of both “Al Sharqiyah” magazine and “Al Wusta” magazine, for the month of July 2026, in which they presented several diverse topics, most notably food security.

"Al Sharqiyah"

Al Sharqiyah The magazine highlighted the introduction of “Jebel Deem” organic fruit products in the Souq Al Jubail in Kalba at the beginning of last July, which included grapes of all kinds, as well as olives, in the first actual harvest of this ambitious project dedicated to the production of organic fruits, which was launched three years ago as part of Sharjah’s food security plan.

"Al Wusta"

Al Wusta Magazine reviews what the Mleiha Dairy Farm, the Guinness Record holder as the largest farm in the world for the original non-hybrid breed of cows that produce (A2A2) milk, had achieved. Meanwhile, the “EKTIFA” revealed that it produces 130,000 litres of milk daily and aims to reach 300,000 litres per day by 2029. It has also set in motion a plan to launch several other dairy products in 2026 and the following year.
