The marathon is one of the association's largest events, designed to encourage community members to engage in sports while learning about rheumatic diseases. The race featured five categories to suit different age groups and fitness levels, including a 21 km race for professional runners, 10 km for amateurs, 5 km and 2.5 km categories, and a 1 km walking race.
Wahida Abdul Aziz emphasised the growing turnout each year, reflecting the community's increasing awareness of the importance of exercise in promoting health and preventing chronic diseases. The marathon aligns with the association’s mission to encourage a healthy lifestyle, improve the quality of life, and raise awareness about arthritis and rheumatism.
