SSC updates IMS and business continuity certifications

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) has successfully updated its Integrated Management System (IMS) certification for the third consecutive year, along with its Business Continuity System certification for the second year. The Strategic Planning and Performance Management Department's collaboration in organising the audit plans led to this accomplishment.
13 clubs receive certifications
Alongside the SSC, 13 sports clubs in the emirate have also achieved the Integrated Management System certification. This acknowledgement underscores their dedication to quality assurance, excellence, and adherence to global standards.

Certified management systems
The certifications awarded include essential management systems, such as quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety management. The certified clubs consist of Mleiha, Al Dhaid, Al Bataeh, Kalba, Khor Fakkan Sports Club, Khor Fakkan Club for the Disabled, Sharjah Falcons Club, Kalba Football Company, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Madam, Sharjah Cultural Chess Club, Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, and the Chess and Culture Club for Girls.

Dedicated focus on achieving institutional excellence
Maryam Yousef Al Hosani, Director of the Strategic Planning and Performance Department at the Council, emphasised that this milestone demonstrates the council's and clubs' dedication to upholding international standards and fostering a culture of excellence. She further stated that the SSC aims to continuously uphold these high standards and seeks to extend certification to all clubs in the emirate, reinforcing its commitment to comprehensive quality management and institutional excellence.
