Islamic Forum hosts notable event on Quranic interpretation

Sharjah24: The Islamic Forum is organising a significant cultural event today, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah. Titled "The Science of Quranic Interpretation and Its Tools," the event is being held in collaboration with the Academy and features renowned scholars and experts in Quranic studies and Islamic sciences. Scheduled over two days, the seminar explores various aspects of interpreting the Quran and examines the role of different sciences in understanding its texts. The aim is to enhance knowledge of the Quran through a systematic and scholarly approach.

Day One Lectures

The first day includes a lecture by Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Anis titled "Methods of Quranic Interpretation: An Analytical Perspective," which discusses the diverse methodologies adopted by Quranic interpreters, focusing on deep textual analysis.

The Role of Arabic Sciences

Following this, Dr. Ammar Mustafa Harmoush will present "The Impact of Arabic Sciences on Quranic Interpretation," highlighting the crucial role of the Arabic language and its tools in accurately understanding Quranic texts.

Day Two Lectures

On the second day, Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Anis will return with a lecture on "The Supporting Islamic Sciences for Quranic Interpretation," emphasising the importance of auxiliary sciences like Hadith and Fiqh in the process of interpretation.

Environmental Influences on Interpretation

Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Jalil Hassan will deliver a session titled "The Influence of Environment and Natural Sciences on Quranic Interpretation," focusing on how environmental and natural sciences contribute to the understanding of specific Quranic verses.
