Sharjah Police receives Digital Department delegation

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC), received His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director-General of the Sharjah Digital Department, and the accompanying delegation.

Enhancing joint cooperation

The meeting aimed to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides and unify their efforts in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of Sharjah Digital Government.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services; His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support; His Excellency Brigadier Sami Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defense Authority; Engineer Lamia Al Shamsi, Director of Sharjah Digital Department; Engineer Majid Mohammed Al Mazloum, Advisor to Sharjah Digital Department; Mr. Moaz Al Naqbi from Sharjah Digital Department, and a number of directors of the relevant departments.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Ibn Amer expressed his appreciation for the visit, praising the efforts of Sharjah Digital Department in supporting the vision of the emirate and upgrading the comprehensive digital system.

The meeting discussed enhancing joint cooperation in a number of topics, most notably unifying efforts between government agencies in the Emirate of Sharjah, in a way that serves the interests of the UAE community in general, and Sharjah in particular, and achieves mutual strategic goals.

Supporting the digital system

His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi praised SPGC efforts in enhancing the security of the emirate, improving services and integrating them with all government agencies, stressing the need to explore multiple future projects between the two parties to develop the infrastructure in the emirate.

Al Qasimi added that the department always seeks to learn about the best global practices that support the digital system, which achieves the vision of the wise leadership in building an advanced digital system that supports institutional leadership and provides the best services to members of society.
