Sharjah 24: The Suburb Affairs Committee of Dibba Al Hisn City Council, affiliated with Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA), held a meeting headed by His Excellency Rashid Ahmed Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Committee, and attended by members Asma Mohammed Al Tunaiji and Omar Darwish Al Amiri.

Developing community services

The meeting focused on the Committee's plan for 2025, where attendees reviewed a number of topics aimed at developing community services and enhancing communication with Dibba Al Hisn residents.

An integrated strategy according to SDSA plans

His Excellency Rashid Ahmed Al Naqbi stressed, during his speech at the meeting, that the Committee is committed to implementing an integrated strategy that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the people of Dibba Al Hisn and enhances communication in accordance with SDSA plans and the competencies of the councils.

Programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing social initiatives

Discussions focused on programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing social initiatives, in addition to exploring ways to activate community activities that reflect the aspirations of residents and meet their needs. Proposals were also discussed for the committee to communicate more with residents to ensure their involvement in decisions related to developing the area within the jurisdiction of the suburban councils.

Youth initiatives

For her part, Asma Mohammed Al Tunaiji pointed out the importance of focusing on initiatives that concern youth and enhance their role in serving the community.

Partnerships with government and private entities

Omar Darwish Al Amiri stressed the importance of partnerships with government and private entities to expand the scope of services provided.

At the end of the meeting, Rashid Ahmed Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Committee, thanked the members for their valuable contributions, calling for intensified work during the coming period to ensure the implementation of the Committee’s plan for 2025 efficiently and with quality, in a way that achieves SDSA vision in supporting local communities and enhancing their well-being.
