Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, a member of the association’s board of directors, emphasized the campaign’s focus on fostering solidarity and mutual support within society. The "Good" campaign is designed to help both local and international needy families and vulnerable groups through a series of charitable initiatives.
The campaign includes distributing Iftar meals, providing Zakat Al Mal and Zakat Al Fitr, delivering Eid clothing, and distributing Ramadan baskets. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing dignity and promoting charitable work across the community.
Executive Director Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem explained that the campaign will collect 136 million dirhams to bring joy to 1.1 million beneficiaries, with various charitable projects running throughout Ramadan.
One of the key initiatives of the "Good 2025" campaign is the distribution of nearly one million Iftar meals. 870,000 meals will be distributed within the UAE, and Ramadan baskets will be given to more than 25,000 beneficiaries in Sharjah.
The campaign also includes a collaboration with tailoring shops to provide Eid clothing to 3,000 beneficiaries, along with distributing 17,000 Fitra through the Zakat Al-Fitr project.
Additionally, the association has allocated 4 million dirhams for patient treatment and 1 million dirhams for home restorations for needy families. The campaign also includes global initiatives such as building water networks and providing medical care to remote areas.
Ibn Khadem expressed his deep gratitude to the donors and partners who support the campaign, emphasizing that their contributions significantly impact the lives of many. Media representatives praised the campaign's role in enhancing social solidarity and charitable work both locally and internationally.
