Bin Amer chairs SPs 1st 2025 Supreme Leadership Council meeting

Sharjah 24: Council members, department directors, their deputies, and specialised officers attended the inaugural permanent Supreme Leadership Council meeting for 2025 under the direction of Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police General Command (SP).

The commander-in-chief began the meeting with a warm welcome, extending congratulations to the officers for their recent appointments and providing an overview of the revised organisational structure of departments and divisions. He commended the workforce's efforts over the past years and urged improved performance and commitment in the upcoming phase to reach strategic objectives focused on bolstering security and serving the community.

Key discussions

The meeting examined various subjects, such as the accomplishments of the Supreme Leadership Committee from 2019 to 2024 and the progress made in security and policing throughout that time frame. Discussions also centred on the recently revised organisational structure of the General Command, aimed at adapting to changes and enhancing work mechanisms in line with global best practices. Other subjects covered were internal operations and administrative policies designed to improve and advance work efficiency in multiple areas.

In his closing remarks, Major General bin Amer praised the council members for their valuable contributions to the advancement of police work. He highlighted the importance of ongoing efforts to achieve institutional excellence and sustainability in security and policing operations.
