SICT Committee reviews sites for 10th edition launch

Sharjah24: The 10th edition of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour (SICT) is set to take place from January 24 to 28, with preparations currently in progress. The event is held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The organising committee, headed by His Excellency Abdul Malik Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, carried out site visits to evaluate the starting and finishing points of the tour stages.

Sharjah Tour set for success

Joining him were Dr. Yasser Omar Al Dookhi, the Tour Director, along with members of the committee and heads of various subcommittees. The visits assessed the logistical arrangements and services for participants, organisers, and the audience.

After the inspections, Abdul Malik Jani announced that the organising committee and working teams are completely ready to present an outstanding edition of the tour, commemorating its "first decade" celebration. He highlighted that the Sharjah Sports Council and the organising committee have carefully attended to every detail to guarantee a successful event.

He also commended the work of the various committees and confirmed that all details regarding the tour will be announced during a press conference set for Monday, January 13, at Al Noor Island, beginning at 4:00 PM.
