Dibba Al Hisn Club to launch its second sports festival

Sharjah 24: As part of the preparations for the second Dibba Al Hisn Sports Festival, which the club is scheduled to host, the second meeting was held, on Wednesday, headed by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Motawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club.

The meeting was attended by a large number of representatives of government departments in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, as it was held under the auspices of the Sharjah Sports Council (SCC).

The meeting was also attended by a number of strategic partners of the festival, such as representatives of the Department of Culture in the Dibba Al Hisn office, in addition to representatives from the police and the municipality.

During the meeting, the heads of the festival's subcommittees were identified and approved, in addition to dividing the tasks and work for preparing for the event.

Participants in the meeting took a field tour of the heritage village that will host the festival, in order to inspect the preparations and available facilities.

Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Motawa, Chairman of the Festival Organising Committee, stressed the importance of this major event for the club, as it represents a qualitative shift that will contribute to promoting sporting values and developing young talents in the region.

Al Motawa pointed out that the festival is not limited to being a sporting event only, but rather constitutes an important platform for enhancing communication and love among all members of society in the city of Dibba Al Hisn.
