The event was attended by prominent figures, including Dr Ali Salem Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Al Bustan District Council; Dr Mohammed Abdullah Bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Al Dhaid City; and Rashid Abdullah Al-Muhayyan Al-Ketbi, Chairman of the Parents' Council in the Central Region. A large number of local residents also participated.
Discussions during the event focused on the council’s responsibilities and the functions of its various committees. Dr Al-Tunaiji highlighted the work of the Cultural and Social Committee in fostering community activities, as well as the District Affairs Committee’s role in addressing residents’ concerns and finding effective solutions.
Speakers emphasised the importance of initiatives like "Yalsatna" in fostering stronger connections between residents and the council. They underscored the council’s role as a bridge between the community and government agencies, aimed at enhancing quality of life and driving sustainable development.
Dr Al Tunaiji concluded the event by expressing gratitude to the attendees and participants. He reaffirmed the council’s dedication to serving the community and meeting their expectations, applauding the active involvement of residents in initiatives that promote social cohesion. He also stressed that the "Yalsatna" initiative will continue to be a key example of collaboration between the council and the community, aligning with Sharjah’s vision of enhancing communication and fostering a sense of belonging.
