Sharjah24: As the recipient of the 13th Sharjah Award for Arabic Poetr, poet Hussein Al Abdullah expressed his profound gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the recognition he received for his participation in Sharjah Festival for Arabic Poetry (SFAP), he said, it was especially meaningful since it came from an Arab leader who is a passionate supporter of Arabic literature and language.
In his statements to Sharjah 24, Al Abdullah stressed the festival's prominence as a significant cultural event, addressing critics and poets. Through its poetry nights and other events, it serves as a meeting place for the literary community of the Arab world, fostering dialogue and understanding on a global scale.
