During the closing ceremony, Al Shamsi honoured the participants, sponsors, and the organising committee. He emphasised that the camp represents a significant step in promoting the club, Sharjah Emirate, and the UAE as a whole as a hub for water sports.
Al Shamsi highlighted that one of the camp's objectives was to introduce participants to the UAE's urban and heritage landmarks. This was achieved through recreational trips to popular attractions such as Global Village and Dubai Safari Park
The camp attracted 18 athletes from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Japan, the UK, and Spain. Participants benefited from physical training, practical tests, and technical meetings to assess their skill levels. The camp was supervised by Captain Najib Basha, Al Hamriyah's coach, and international Spanish trainer Captain Pablo Mari.
Participants expressed their delight with the camp experience, unanimously agreeing on its significant benefits. They particularly appreciated the opportunity to interact with sailing schools from Arab, Asian, and European countries. The athletes extended their gratitude to Al Hamriyah Club for organising the event.
