The programme saw an impressive participation of 476 girls, aged between 13 and 18, who took part in a series of specialised workshops and creative programmes conducted in collaboration with experts from various fields.
The activities were held at the main headquarters in Al Qarayen Centre, along with other centres in Khorfakkan, Kalba in the Eastern Region, as well as Al Hamriyah, Al Batayeh, and Mleiha. The programme featured 16 specialised workshops covering diverse creative fields, along with winter camps and mountain hiking trips, engaging 112 girls. These activities focused on enhancing intellectual, sensory, and motor skills.
Sports also played a vital role in the programme, with Sajaya organising basketball and volleyball tournaments, which saw participation from more than 73 athletes. These competitions helped develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and boosted self-confidence and social personality
This programme reflects Sajaya’s vision of empowering girls and enhancing their youth skills, equipping them with the tools for a promising career in various sectors. It aligns with the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation, who seeks to provide a nurturing environment for creativity and productivity, aiming to prepare an aware and influential generation that will contribute to building society.
