Israel sets Kamal Adwan Hospital ablaze in Gaza

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Israeli forces set fire to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, today. The hospital, one of the largest in the region, provided care for over 400,000 residents.

Forced evacuations and shelling

Health sources reported that Israeli forces forcibly evacuated patients, medical staff, the injured, and journalists from the hospital. The forces also shelled the facility and fired live ammunition, causing fires to engulf multiple departments, including the operating rooms, laboratory, emergency, and reception units.

Humiliation and forced relocation

According to reports, Israeli forces forced medical teams, patients, and their companions to remove their clothing in the cold and relocated them to an undisclosed location outside the hospital.

Palestinian Ministry of Health calls for international intervention

In response to the attack, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has urged the international community to intervene and protect patients, medical teams, and healthcare facilities, especially in Gaza, following the assault and destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital.
