Mleiha Club shines at Abu Dhabi Swim for Life

Sharjah24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club achieved a remarkable milestone at the Abu Dhabi Swim for Life International Championship, held over three days at the Mohamed Bin Zayed City swimming pool. The club's swimmers delivered an outstanding performance, earning a total of 27 medals, showcasing their exceptional skills and competitiveness in swimming.
The club’s swimmers secured 12 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze medals, reflecting their superior athletic ability and the rigorous training they undergo.  

This accomplishment highlights the club's commitment to nurturing athletic talent and enhancing players' skills to achieve top results locally. It aligns with the club’s strategy of promoting a culture of excellence and fair competition across various sports disciplines.  

The swimmers expressed pride in their achievement, attributing their success to the continuous efforts of the administrative and technical teams and their own dedication to excellence, aiming to elevate the club's name.  

Abdullah Salem Al-Khasouni, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, praised the players' performance and competitive spirit during the championship. He emphasised that these results underscore the club’s dedication to honing talent and delivering commendable levels that uphold the prestige of Emirati sports.  

He reiterated the club's commitment to supporting all its sports teams to achieve further success across multiple levels. Al-Khasouni added that this achievement is not just for the club but serves as a powerful motivation for athletes nationwide to continue striving towards their ambitions in regional and international sporting events.
