Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, announced the launch of the inaugural Wheat Festival, featuring a variety of recreational activities and events for all community members, at the Wheat Farm in Mleiha.
Dr Al Tunaiji emphasised the department's commitment to supporting national farms, promoting their products, and encouraging farmers and productive families to embrace organic agriculture. He highlighted that dedicated spaces at the Wheat Festival are provided for these products to be sold.
In an interview with Sharjah 24, Al Tunaiji noted that the festival offers a wide range of educational and recreational activities for children and other attendees, all set against the backdrop of a pleasant winter atmosphere.
