Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) visited the Dibba Al Hisn Cultural and Sports Club to monitor the maintenance and development works taking place at the club's facilities. This visit is part of the council's commitment to support and develop the infrastructure of sports clubs in the emirate.
The delegation was led by Engineer Khalifa Al Suwaidi from the Sports Facilities Monitoring Department, along with Omar Al Kaaf and Khalifa Al Ali, and they were welcomed by Ali Mohammed bin Yarouf Al-Naqbi, the club's Secretary General.
During the visit, which took place on Wednesday evening, the current condition of the club's facilities was reviewed as part of a comprehensive maintenance plan aimed at improving the quality of sports and service facilities. The delegation was briefed on the progress of the completed works and the readiness of the main facilities. They also conducted a tour of the indoor sports hall and theater, where they assessed the key technical needs and examined some issues facing the sports hall.
The delegation emphasised the Sharjah Sports Council's commitment to ensuring that the development works are completed to the highest standards, noting that the sports hall will be fully delivered after addressing the remaining technical observations, making it ready to host sports activities and cultural events.
At the end of the tour, Ali Mohammed bin Yarouf Al-Naqbi praised the efforts made by the Sharjah Sports Council and its dedication to monitoring the needs of clubs, which enhances their readiness to host various events and activities. He affirmed that the maintenance and development works will contribute to strengthening the club's role as a sports and cultural facility that meets the aspirations of its members and local community, supporting athletic performance and talent development in a well-equipped and integrated environment.
